Cafe Supervisor | Term Time Only Guildford Contract: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £26,500Hours: 40 per week
A private day school for girls in Guildford for students aged between 4 to 18 years. Catering for about 1100 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack and match teas with some fabulous hospitality thrown in. Additionally this location benefits from great transport links.
Term time only.
About the Role
We are looking for a Cafe supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Guildford.
You will ideally have previous experience working within a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity of working within a brand new cafe.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of this fantastic cafe.
- Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, making hot drinks, clearing down (Barista skills essential).
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Hospitality experience required.
- An all‑round team player.
- Organised with attention to detail.
- Barista experience essential.
Knowledge & Competencies
- Ability to demonstrate a reasonable and good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate a reasonable and good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Previous experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
