We are an award-winning independent production company, based in the heart of London, crafting captivating, high-end behind-the-scenes content for leading feature film studios and streaming platforms.

We’re on the lookout for an incredible Senior Assistant Editor to bring fresh energy to our dynamic team.

You Are:

  • •Aconfident team player with the ability to work calmly under pressurewith at least 2years’ experienceasanAssistantEditor or similar role
  • •Fastidious in checking your own work and that of more junior team members you will help maintain the high standards of theediting team
  • •Able toassist theProducers& Head of Operationsin the smooth running of the company by keeping good channels of communication &accuratetime-reporting
  • •Abletotroubleshoot technical issues with a calm professional manner
  • •Keen to learn new software and help evolve workflows
  • •Pre-emptive and reactive to rapidly changing circumstances
  • •Willing to learn and adapt as part of a small but growing team
  • • A hard-working reliable team player who brings a positive attitude to work every day

Responsibilities:

  • •Backingupand ingestingfootage
  • •Create interview and B-Roll selects
  • •Prepare sequences forEditorsto ensure the editing andpost productionprocess operates efficiently
  • •Supervise, assist and train junior members of the editing team
  • •First line supportforboth technical and ITissuesliaisingwith our support partners to ensuretheseare addressed promptlyand reported to the Head of Operations

Skills:

  • • Experience with media management
  • • TechnicalproficiencyinAvid Media Composer, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Avid Nexis storage
  • • KnowledgeofAdobe Creative Cloud Softwareis preferable but not essential.
  • • Experience of offline and online workflows and practices
  • • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • • Good intuition forstructure,storytelling& the creative goals of a project.
  • • Experience in creating and supplying deliverables
  • • BasicQC procedures and knowledge of technical standards
