Special Resource Base Teaching Assistant – Cardiff

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional and complex needs? We are currently recruiting for a Special Resource Base Teaching Assistant to work across a range of mainstream primary schools with SRB provisions in Cardiff.

You will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping children with diverse learning needs to access education in a supportive and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for flexible work.

We partner with a variety of schools throughout Cardiff that are seeking dedicated and adaptable staff. You can choose from full‑time, part‑time, or day‑to‑day roles, with opportunities starting at different points throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt to a range of classroom settings and pupil needs

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with additional and complex needs in any setting
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Enhanced DBS certificate
