Butcher

We are looking for skilled Butchers, Deboners and Trimmers to join our team at Treburley near Launceston in Cornwall. The successful candidates will be required to undertake de-boning and trimming of beef carcasses to customer specification whilst ensuring maximum meat yield is achieved.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 5.45am to 2.15pm. Base rate: £12.21 p/h. Good attendance and performance may lead to a throughput bonus, raising the hourly rate to £15.32 p/h.

Responsibilities

• Boning and trimming beef products following customer specifications.
• Working as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment to ensure production runs smoothly.
• Maintain current yields and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of boning or trimming meat Previous experience of working in the food industry
• Be able to demonstrate good knife skills.
• Possess good communication and team‑working skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service.
