Part‑time Catering Assistant – Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
Equans is recruiting for a part‑time Catering Assistant to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (EH16 4SA). The role is permanent, working 20 hours per week with an annual salary of £14,237.60. Shift Pattern
Monday‑Friday 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Job Requirements
This role includes a Disclosure and Barring Service (DS) Basic check; successful completion is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain food & beverage services to customers.
- Assist with all general duties including food preparation and cleaning.
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet current food legislation.
- Prepare and serve food as directed by the Catering Services Manager and Assistant Catering Services Manager.
- Support the Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Services Manager with day‑to‑day running of the site and carry out general catering duties as directed by the management team.

Qualifications
- Previous catering experience
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
