Leverhulme Community Primary School is seeking an inspirational and outstanding leader who will embrace the strengths of our school and rise to the challenges of the future, bringing drive and ambition and providing the highest standard of leadership.
Leverhulme is a happy and safe environment where every child and adult feels known, valued and supported. This is a rare opportunity to lead a school where wellbeing, relationships and high expectations sit firmly at the heart of everything we do.
We are a diverse and inclusive community, striving to bring out the best in everyone. We work hard every day to ensure our children and families feel safe, cared for and any perceived barriers to learning are reduced. We are continuing to develop our curriculum to ensure it is relevant for all of our learners.
We are looking for an exceptional Head Teacher who will:
- Provide outstanding leadership, inspiring and motivating all children and staff to reach their full potential
- Lead with integrity, clarity and an authentic sense of social moral purpose
- Be an effective and engaging communicator, able to work in partnership with Governors and the wider school community
- Ensure that children benefit from the highest standard of teaching and learning, to prepare them for an ever-changing world and where children are known as individuals
- Champion inclusion – ensuring any pupils with vulnerabilities, including SEND, additional needs and those who are looked after or have been looked after are at the heart of decision making
- Understand and ensure safeguarding is held at the heart of all decisions at Leverhulme
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth both their own and that of others
In exchange we offer:
- A school where community, ambition and care truly come together
- A supportive and dedicated team of staff in school who are passionate and care deeply about the community
- Strong relationships between staff, children, families and other professionals are at the heart of what we do
- A team who enjoy open communication and respond well to clarity and directness
- An experienced, talented and solution-focused Senior Leadership Team
- Families who will walk alongside you when you are consistent, non‑judgemental and authentic
- An active and committed Governing Board
Come and See for Yourself
We believe the best way to understand Leverhulme is to experience it during the school day.
