HGV Class 1 Driver – General Haulage (Days)

Millison Chase Limited are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing general haulage and curtain-sided work across the UK.

Pay Rates

£16.00 per hour – Days (PAYE)

£20.00 per hour – Weekends

Job Details

• General haulage and palletised deliveries/collections
• Curtain-sided trailers
• Typically 1–5 drops per shift
• Occasional hub runs / trunking work
• Minimal handball involved
• Drivers responsible for load security and internal stepping
• Ensuring all loads are safe and compliant

Start times between 05:00am – 07:30am. Long shifts available within drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of load security and compliance
• Professional and reliable attitude
