Teacher of Humanities – Permanent Contract

Position: Teacher of Humanities, Permanent Contract from September 2026 (Islington, London).

Responsibilities

• Teach Humanities to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (advantage if qualified for Key Stage 5).
• Deliver creative, student‑centred lessons.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department and senior leadership team.
• Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Assess student progress and contribute to curriculum planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Humanities or a related discipline.
• Relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3–4 (or eligibility as an Early Career Teacher).
• Willingness to pursue Teacher Leadership and Recognition (TLR) if offered.
