Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Window & Door Installer to join our team in Greater Manchester for an on-site role. Day-to-day tasks include installing a variety of windows, doors, and conservatories, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards. The installer will interpret blueprints and customer requirements, prepare and measure installation sites, and implement repairs or adjustments as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to provide exceptional service and meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience in window and door installation, including handling and fitting double-glazed products
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment for installation and repair
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills to ensure proper fitting and alignment
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle heavy materials
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction and installation
- Relevant experience in glazing or home improvement is advantageous
- FENSA certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred
