Class 1 Driver

Edge Staffing are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers (HGV C+E) for ongoing work with our client in the York area (YO26).

Pay Rates

• Agency: £15.85 per hour (breaks paid)
• Full‑time salary potential: £33,000‑£45,000 per year

Role

• Collection of scrap televisions and fridges
• Heavy lifting involved
• Driver’s mate provided to assist
• Ongoing work available Monday to Friday

Class 1 Driver Requirements

• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Must have held Class 1 licence for at least 2 years
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes)
• Strong knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices
• Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
