Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Redbridge, who are seeking an experienced Reception 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September2026. This is a full-time role working 32.5 hours per week, term time only, and offers a daily rate of £95-£105 PAYE depending on experience. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support within a Reception class, helping a child to access learning, develop confidence and make excellent progress throughout the academic year. The school is looking for a nurturing and proactive Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support within a Reception class, helping a child to access learning, develop confidence and make excellent progress.
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of one year’s experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Be confident supporting children within EYFS.
- Have strong phonics knowledge and experience.
- Be patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience delivering phonics support and assisting children with early communication and language development.
