HGV Drivers Class 1 Tramping – Nights Out

Competitive pay ranging from £15.36 to £17.86 per hour, based on hours worked. The role involves 4 night-outs per cycle, starting Monday and returning Friday with an average of 55 hours per week, approximately £860 per week, and an annual salary range of £42,000 to £44,000.

Requirements

• C+E driving licence
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence for minor offences
• Reliable, punctual and keen to maintain vehicle condition

Responsibilities

• Tramp from site to site for four nights in a row
• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks, reporting any damage or defects
• Correct use of tachograph and adhere to driver hour regulations

Benefits & Expectations

• Monday to Friday pay at £15.36 per hour up to 48 hours; over 48 hours at £17.86 PAYE per hour
• No weekend work required
• Weekly pay, guaranteed minimum 8‑hour shift pay per day
