About The Role

Position: Luxury Retail Security Officer (Door Host) – Central London

Hourly Rate: £15.50 plus holiday pay (FGH Group operates a holiday accrual scheme in line with the government guidelines at 12.07%)

Shifts Available: Monday – Sunday (typically between 09:00 – 21:00)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the first and last impression of the brand, delivering a warm and professional welcome
• Provide a refined front‑of‑house presence, aligned with luxury retail standards
• Greet all clients with confidence, awareness, and attention to detail
• Maintain constant situational awareness while remaining approachable and composed
• Monitor activity at the entrance and within the store, identifying risks discreetly
• Support loss prevention through observation, intelligence, and communication
• Manage access and control flow during busy periods with professionalism
• Handle sensitive situations with discretion, calmness, and strong judgment
• Liaise seamlessly with store teams to protect both client experience and assets
• Produce clear, accurate, and professional incident and daily activity reports

About You

Experience in luxury retail security or premium customer‑facing roles is essential.

• Impeccably presented, with exceptional grooming and attention to detail
• Confident, calm, and professional, with a natural ability to engage high‑end clientele
• Highly observant, with the ability to maintain awareness without appearing intrusive
• A strong communicator, capable of delivering both excellent service and clear reporting
• Experienced in conflict management and de‑escalation within a customer‑focused environment
• Able to balance security priorities with a seamless luxury experience
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

• Deliver luxury‑level greetings and customer interaction
• Demonstrate calm, confident body language and tone of voice
• Ensure all guests feel welcomed, acknowledged, and safe
• Remain discreet when managing incidents or communicating via radio
• Uphold brand standards by avoiding behaviours that detract from the client experience

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or SIA Security Guarding Licence
• Previous experience in retail security (luxury preferred)
• During screening must provide evidence of 5‑year employment/education history and references in a timely manner upon request
