The Opportunity

Get Recruited are working with a highly reputable and award-winning Legal practice who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have worked within a legal practice within an accounts team. Joining at a very exciting time, as a Legal Cashier you will be:

The Role

• Processing accurate and timely financial transactions.
• Ensuring all transactions are compliant with SRA and regulations.
• Manage and maintain client account records.
• Handle petty cash and conduct reconciliation.
• Assist with VAT returns and compliance.
• Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACs.
• Reconcile bank statements daily and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Post expenses and financial transactions.
• Support month end and year end closing processes, including reports.

The Person

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a legal cashier or a similar finance role within a law firm.
• Strong working knowledge of legal accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
