Days from time to time: Mon 17:00:00-23:00:00, Tue 17:00:00-23:00:00, Thu 17:00:00-23:00:00, Sat 17:00:00-23:00:00.
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide you with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. Flexibility is provided.
Pay & Working Hours
Base rate of £14.18 per hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply. Minimum guaranteed hours 16 per week (12 hours minimum if desired).
Responsibilities
- Ensure the van and trays are clean and organised.
- Keep the back yard tidy and clear of rubbish; pick up litter.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load the van as required and check the van for roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers about changes to their orders, offering refunds for dissatisfaction.
- Take care of products/deliveries with care.
- Explain no additional charge for substitutions.
- Deliver within the customer’s time slot.
- Call the customer before arriving if early.
- Call the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late.

- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Warm and welcoming in interactions, saying thank you.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change.
- Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
- Share ideas with manager and colleagues on improvement.
Key Qualifications
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Over 18 years old (min age 18 required for early morning or late evening roles, or roles involving warehouses, counter, etc.).
