Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver (Multidrop – Fresh Fish) role based in London. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading fresh fish and shellfish orders to multiple customer locations, including restaurants and wholesale clients. Daily tasks include checking delivery paperwork, performing basic vehicle safety checks, maintaining temperature control and product quality, and ensuring deliveries are accurate and on time. The role also involves providing courteous, professional service to customers at each drop, handling cash or delivery confirmations as required, and promptly reporting any delivery issues or discrepancies. The Delivery Driver will assist with warehouse duties when needed, such as helping with stock rotation, basic order picking, and maintaining clean, food-safe work and vehicle environments.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, with experience in Customer Service and the Food & Beverage environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, including basic Pallet Pump Operation where required.
- Willingness to support and mentor colleagues, contributing to on-the-job Training and knowledge sharing.
- Valid driving license with a clean or low-points record and experience in multidrop or commercial driving.
- Good knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and cold-chain handling; Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willingness to obtain) is an advantage.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and carrying boxes of seafood, and working in chilled environments.
- Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow delivery routes and schedules accurately.
- Right to work in the UK and good spoken English for communication with customers and colleagues.
