Role: Inbound Sales Consultant
Salary: £26,000 basic + £45k OTE
Location: London (Liverpool Street)
Bionic, the UK’s number one business comparison and switching service, is looking for an Energy Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team and close qualified sales enquiries passed over to you by our inbound, outbound and field sales teams. You will be helping small to medium‑size businesses secure a better deal on their energy contracts by presenting them with a wide range of options to meet their needs.
The Role
To support our continued growth and exciting plans, we’re looking for an Energy Sales Consultant to close qualified sales enquiries and present energy deals to business customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and closing real‑time qualified leads.
- Establish customer needs and match them with a product that meets those needs.
- Search for and present the best deals available to your customer.
- Act as the customer’s account executive or account manager.
- Call back customers at an agreed time to discuss their needs.
- Build relationships with customers, providing a world‑class service.
- Convince customers to accept the deal offered if it meets their needs.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs.
- Cross‑sell into other service areas such as telecoms, water and insurance.
- Work with the team to create a great place to work.
About You
- 12 months+ sales experience in a B2B or telesales environment.
- Target driven and self‑motivated.
- Consultative and value‑driven sales approach.
- Experience pitching, negotiating and handling objections.
- Outstanding verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Enjoy building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Tactful in your approach to customers.
- Punctual, focused & dedicated.
- Initiative and a desire to learn & develop.
- Friendly and outgoing team player.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure.
