We are looking for a client-focused professional to contribute to exceptional service and boutique operations in a luxury retail environment.

Main Accountabilities

Under the direct responsibility of the Store Manager:

  1. Sales floor operations
  • Core member of the sales team offering excellent customer service, maximising sales opportunities and building long-term relationships.
  • Ensure a warm in-store experience throughout the journey, demonstrating warmth, sincerity and patience with a can-do attitude.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of John Lobb products and their features and benefits.
  • Ensure in-store displays are reviewed and refreshed according to guidelines to stay relevant and attractive.
  • Be confident and proactive in customer interactions, contact customers via different platforms, build a client book and develop new customers as a brand ambassador.
  • Operate till and payment processes, including exchanges and returns.
  • Participate in excellent after-sales and sales support activities to deliver outstanding client service.
  1. Customer Service
  • Maintain strong professional communication during the selling journey and extend the relationship beyond the store digitally. Provide a seamless, tailored experience in/out of the store.
  • Manage the client database with accurate CRM capture and data recording.
  • Maintain an active local client base for long-term relationships and manage special orders with clear communication.
  • Understand and generate remote sales across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate in the creation of in-store and offsite events.
  1. Styling / Fashion
  • Interest in fashion with knowledge of trends; ability to advise and style customers; awareness of competitors.
  1. Stock and back-office management
  • Maintain knowledge of stock in-store and elsewhere; ensure proper storage and flag stock issues to the Store Manager.
  • Assist with stock takes and cycle counts; contribute to stock ordering, receiving and maintenance processes.
  • Handle internal and external transfers and related paperwork; assist with E-commerce orders and shipments.
  1. Miscellaneous
  • Participate in security activities and support the store’s stock protection efforts
  • Liaise with the wider John Lobb team as needed to support store requirements
  • Undertake projects and responsibilities with direction from the Manager

Applicant profile

  • Minimum 3 years experience in high-end/luxury international retail; men’s sector experience is a plus
  • Strong clienteling skills; existing client book is a plus
  • High interest in fashion and trends; excellent written and verbal English
  • Fluency in another language is advantageous
  • Experience in retail administration; understanding of CRM, databases and e-commerce is a plus
