We are currently looking for a full‑time Sales Associate to join our prestigious Wines & Spirits department, home to over 1,400 wines and 400 varieties of spirits.
Your salary will be a minimum of £29,988 plus commission, and you will receive Harrods benefits, including generous discounts across our store and restaurants.
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for playing a key part in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. Your role is all about delivering outstanding service, sharing your expertise, and representing the Harrods brand.
Responsibilities
- Provide world‑class customer service and build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge across wines and spirits.
- Advise customers on the perfect wines and spirits based on their preferences.
- Understand the principles of wine storage, service, and food pairing.
- Maintain the shop floor running smoothly through strong organization.
- Work collaboratively and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Qualifications
- Passion for wines and spirits and prior working experience within the industry.
- Open‑minded, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and enjoys storytelling.
- Technical knowledge of wines and spirits (WSET Level 2 or 3, or similar qualifications are a plus, but not essential).
- Highly organized and capable of keeping the shop floor running smoothly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with customers.
- Ready to work on site 5 out of the 7 days a week.
