Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain practical experience in a school? This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist school supporting learners of all ages with additional learning needs and communication or social‑emotional challenges.
Whether your goal is to become a teacher, educational psychologist, counsellor, or speech and language therapist, this role provides hands‑on experience and insight into supporting students who benefit from extra care and tailored learning support.
The Opportunity
- Full‑time role, Monday – Friday
- Support learners individually and in small groups
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver learning, care, and interventions
- Salary: £480–£520 per week (term‑time only)
- Start: November 2025 – July 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Support learners in the classroom and during targeted sessions
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
- Assist with learning goals and track learner progress
- Provide emotional and social support, helping learners feel safe, motivated, and included
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to plan and deliver effective support
What We’re Looking For
- Psychology graduate (2:2 or above) or related field
- Passion for supporting learners with additional needs
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a busy school environment
