Overview

Base pay range

£13.00-£14.50 per hour, plus Pension and Holiday Pay (equating to a rolled up rate of £15.01-£16.74 per hour).

Responsibilities

  • As a Home Care Worker working with Children’s Support in Alcedo Care, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people often with complex needs to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
  • Provide personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily routines, while promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to create a safe, nurturing environment where each child can thrive.
  • Be a consistent, caring presence, building trust and offering stability in the child’s life.
  • This role may include personal care and unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals and requires flexible hours, including late evenings and night shifts.

Qualifications

  • Preferably at least 6 months care experience within a UK care setting; not essential as CAP onboarding is provided to boost skills and confidence.
  • Must be aged 18 or over.
  • Role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
