SEN Teaching Assistant and Personal Carer

Salary: £8,809.85 per annum

Grade: E

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Part Time, 14 hours per week (Thursday & Friday, term time)

This part‑time role, commencing Monday 7 September 2026 and covering maternity leave until July 2027, involves supporting inclusion for students with special educational needs and physical disability, including Year 12, through classroom or one‑to‑one support under the direction of teaching staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing learning support to students with SEN and physical disability.
• Working in class or one‑to‑one settings with staff guidance.
• Applying interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Using basic ICT as required.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Good written communication and basic ICT usage.
• Prior learning support experience in a school preferred.
• Full training will be provided.
• Successful enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
