Job Description

Personal assistant required for a lady in Gatley, SK8 area female only, ideally aged between 30 and 50. Personal assistant will require a DBS check prior to starting. Driver with own transport is essential. English speaking only.

Hours and rate of pay

Monday and Wednesday afternoons; some flexibility will be required to cover emergencies and the other personal assistants holidays.

£13.72 per hour (open to negotiation).

Main Duties

• Personal care: showering, dressing and changing of stoma bag
• Taking the client out into the community: cinema, library, gym, swimming, etc.
• Going to any health appointments (added benefits to us).

Personal Assistant Specification

• Must be honest, trustworthy and reliable.
• Must respect privacy and always maintain dignity.
• Must be enthusiastic, flexible and caring.
• Must work well independently and be creative.
• Must ask what the client’s needs are and listen to directions and requests.
• Training on changing of stoma bag can be provided if required.
• Flexibility of hours appreciated (potential weekend work).
• Hourly rate open to negotiation.
• Post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
