Higher Level Teaching Assistant within our Learning Resource Centre for pupils with complex needs
Grade 6 – £28,142 for 29 hours per week, term time only.
The governing body wishes to appoint a skilled and highly motivated practitioner to teach and to support teachers in our Learning Resource Centre classrooms. The LRC has recently been extended from 12 to 24 places. The unit serves pupils with ASC, speech and language, and behavioural and emotional needs.
The successful candidate will work with the Additional Learning Needs Coordinator, the headteacher and other staff to ensure excellent learning and teaching in the Learning Resource Centre at Tenby Primary School.
The role may include whole‑class teaching responsibilities for part of each week, and leading groups as well as providing individual support at other times. Planning and preparation time will be provided for whole‑class teaching duties.
Employment will commence on 1 September 2026, grade 6 on the NJC pay schedule, open‑ended.
