HR Reward Adviser/Analyst

Salary: £36,513–£41,565 per annum, with potential to progress to £44,468, plus a £4,000 per annum market supplement.

About the role

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social sciences universities in the world. The HR Division provides advice and support to the School and its diverse customer base of circa 3,400 employees. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Reward Team, where you will deliver reward processes, apply reward policies consistently, and operate within the School’s governance and committee framework.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to the Head of Reward, including pay equity and gender pay gap analysis, benchmarking, and management information to support decision‑making, compliance and internal reporting. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the School, including senior academic leaders and professional services colleagues, to provide clear guidance and timely support. Handle sensitive remuneration information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality and data protection. Contribute to process improvements within the Reward team, strengthen guidance and controls, improve data quality, reporting in HR systems, and identify opportunities to streamline or automate workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially advanced spreadsheet capability.
  • Confident written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Experience in reward or HR analytics is desirable.
