We are building a talent bank of motivated, dependable individuals who are interested in ad hoc and ongoing temporary work with a busy, well‑established recycling facility in Alness. Work is hands‑on, physical and fast‑paced, and tasks can vary depending on site requirements.

What you would be doing:

• Switching between picking line and warehouse tasks as required
• Sorting mixed waste streams such as construction and house‑clearance materials, removing bulky items safely
• Separating materials into the correct bays (wood, plasterboard, plastics, rocks, blocks etc.)
• Handling confidential waste through shredding, along with cable stripping, baling plastics and cardboard, and sorting metals
• Using handheld tools to grade metals and identify ferrous and non‑ferrous materials

Who suits this type of work:

• Recent experience in a physical, fast‑paced role
• Comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift
• Able to follow clear processes and safety instructions
• Reliable, punctual and confident working as part of a small team
• Comfortable lifting, moving and sorting materials safely
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and steady approach to meeting daily expectations

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday, usually between 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm
• Occasional Saturday overtime may be available
• From £13.45 per hour, with enhanced weekend rates (£20.18 per hour) depending on role and requirement

Contract Type:

• Ad hoc and ongoing temporary assignments
• Work would be offered based on site requirements and your availability
