Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative

Location: Sudbury, Suffolk

Hourly Rate: £13 – £14.50 DOE

Contract: Temp – Perm

Hours: Monday – Thursday

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vacuum forming machines, including manually loading aluminium tools
• Load plastic sheets and monitor the heating and forming process
• Trim and finish formed plastic components to required specifications
• Inspect formed parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in vacuum forming, plastics manufacturing, or a similar production environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
