Materials Handler
Location: Folkestone
Full time – Monday to Friday – Day shifts.
Manual driving licence required.
A full‑time opportunity has arisen for a Materials Handler to support a busy manufacturing and production environment. This role would suit someone with experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings, although training can be provided for the right individual. There is a lot of room to grow within the position and make it their own.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise raw materials, packaging and finished goods storage areas
- Receive and inspect incoming goods
- Move materials to and from production machines
- Supply packaging materials and ancillary parts to production areas
- Ensure all materials are available to support continuous production
- Operate counterbalance forklifts, pallet trucks and manual handling equipment
- Deliver goods to customers using company transport
Experience and Skills Required
- Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Experience working within an ISO‑controlled environment (desirable)
- Basic PC literacy
