Container Repair Operative

Overview

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a Container Repairs Operative for one of our well established clients based out of Coatbridge, Glasgow.

Compensation

The Pay: £31,309 per year basic. (£13.38 per hour). There is also the opportunity for overtime to build on this and the rate would be paid at time and a half. (£20.07 per hour)

Hours

Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

Responsibilities

• Repair cargo containers, including straightening and welding shipping containers.
• Mark and cut out damage to sidewalls, roof, doors, floors, patch curtains.
• Ensure the container looks and functions properly for road and rail use.
• Complete all work to a high standard.

There will also be scope for progression within the business for anyone who shows the right attitude and work ethic to the job.

Requirements

MIG welding is essential along with prep and spray painting experience.
