About the Role

They are now seeking a skilled Soldering Operative to join their dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring high‑quality output across a range of electrical and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Carry out precise soldering, wiring, cable work, and crimping tasks
• Inspect and test components to ensure they meet strict quality standards
• Identify and resolve minor production issues
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in soldering operations, including wiring, cable work, and crimping
• Confident in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
• Skilled in using a range of hand tools and equipment relevant to soldering and electrical assembly
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
• Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Rate of Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• This position will become permanent following a successful qualifying period
