Summary
To carry out general maintenance works and operations, working with a Chargehand, undertaking a wide range of routine and cyclical works. To respond to incidents and call outs during or out of hours on rotas as required and assist with winter maintenance activities.

- Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business
- Willingness to apply skills to a variety of different highways jobs, with changing team members
- Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications
- Be able to complete record sheets, paper or electronic inc. Tablet device
- Be able to take responsibility for plant and equipment
- Ability to use own initiative
- To understand and be responsible for own safety, plus that those around them
- To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs
