Chill Operative L1

Responsibilities

• Manually pack product into trolleys, ensuring the product is fit for purpose and highlighting any non‑conformance.
• Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill.
• Operate and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment.
• Ensure good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Part of an effective handover between shifts, remaining within the chill until a relief takes over.
• Complete all documentation, ensuring they are up to date and available.
• Operate trolley wash and ensure adequate trolley supply to fillers.
• Lead by example, encouraging appropriate behavioural safety and technical standards in support of company values and culture.
• Able to carry out tasks requested by coordinators and team leaders.

Müller Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Comply with food safety requirements and adhere to site quality procedures.
• Maintain chill standards while looking to constantly improve.
• Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissions.
• Cooperate with the company as necessary to enable compliance with statutory duties.
• Actively promote and comply with all company policies, procedures and values.

• Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary.
• Teamwork and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

Contract: Full Time/Permanent.

Salary: £29,826.59 (AM Shift, 4 on 4 off, 6 am‑6 pm).

Salary: £34,545.17 (PM Shift, 4 on 4 off, 6 pm‑6 am).

Salary: £32,174.95 (4 on 4 off, 12 pm‑12 am).

Location: Droitwich.

Please note this role requires work within a chilled environment; all PPE including a Hi‑Vis coat is provided.
