Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Shunter Driver

Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, late shift (2pm‑10pm, Monday to Friday). Flexibility required to cover other shifts.

Role Responsibilities

• Shunt vehicles in the yard and on the public highway.
• Report any obvious vehicle defects to the transport team.
• Use an FLT to safely unload inbound stock.
• Load stock onto drays for customer delivery.
• Collaborate closely with transport and office teams to ensure smooth operations and meeting overall site objectives.
• Prioritise health and safety in all procedures.

Experience and Key Attributes

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Experience using FLT or FLT Licence desired; unwilling holders should be willing to learn as in‑house training will be provided.
• Experience shunting and/or yard management.
• Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG.
• Manual handling capability.
