Overview

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Metal Operative to join a well‑established Manufacturing and Production company based in Bilston. The client specialises in galvanising steel, working primarily with fencing and metal products to prepare them for zinc coating, giving a durable metallic finish.

Your Role

As a Metal Operative, your duties will include:

• Preparing steel products for the galvanisation process
• Loading steel onto jigs/hooks ready for zinc coating
• Carrying out heavy manual handling tasks
• Working with metal products within a factory environment
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous factory or industrial experience essential
• Experience working with metals highly desirable
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures

Pay & Shifts

£13.36 per hour

Monday – Friday

Shift Times

• Rotating Shifts
• Week 1: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 16:00 & Friday 06:00 – 13:00
