What You Will Do

• Manage a caseload of service users, providing structured key working, care planning and regular progress reviews, each making a difference
• Undertake triage, comprehensive assessments, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and governance standards to support safe practices
• Deliver evidence‑based psychosocial interventions one‑on‑one and in groups, including harm reduction, relapse prevention, and recovery planning
• Facilitate access to wider support services including housing, employment, healthcare and community resources, helping clients rebuild their lives holistically

Person Specification

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent or willingness to work towards
• Relevant training in substance misuse, mental health, or recovery‑based practice

Registration and Compliance

• Enhanced DBS check required to ensure safety for all service users
• Working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Adults procedures and the Mental Capacity Act to meet legal and ethical standards
• Understanding of CQC standards and UK data protection requirements GDPR, crucial for protecting service users’ data
