Overview
Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit a scout on a casual basis to identify and recruit talented Academy footballers with the potential to sign for Norwich City Academy. The candidate will need to be based in, or close to, the Peterborough area due to the ad hoc nature of the role.
Role and Responsibilities
Scouts are required to assist with scouting and recruitment, providing a systematic coverage of local academy football to identify realistic recruitment targets for the Academy at Norwich City Football Club.
Successful applicants will be paid an hourly rate which will be reviewed so that high achievers are offered higher remuneration and more games to watch.

Hourly rate; rate reviewed based on performance and workload).
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year scouting experience
- Knowledge of the following leagues: Peterborough & District Junior Alliance, Junior Premier League, Hunts Youth League
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of local academy football
- Experience or a background in scouting
- Self-motivated and committed
- A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
- Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- A people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate
- Full driving licence
