Salary £13.45 per hour. Fixed term until 17/07/2026. Variable hours: part‑time, 8.75 hours per week, term time only at St Bedes Primary School, Chorley.

About the Role
Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day. Join our service and work as part of a team at St Bedes Primary School, providing high‑quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Cleaning of all equipment and catering areas.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.
Working Hours / Days
Monday to Friday, term time only + 4 days. 8.75 hrs per week (1.75 hrs per day), although hours are variable depending on school meal uptake.
