Kitchen Assistant – Manchester Airport Terminal 1

We are looking for a kitchen assistant to work at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. The role will be made permanent upon gaining references for a full pass. Start date: 8th June 2026.

Package

• Rate of Pay: £13.90 per hour
• Shifts: 2 early (4:45am-14:00pm), 2 late (14:00pm-22:30pm), 2 off (four on, two off)
• MUST have 5 years of working history in the UK and UK address history.
• The role will be made permanent upon gaining references for a full pass.
• Start date: 8th June 2026

Main Responsibilities

• Dress in the supplied uniform according to standards and guidelines.
• Use only the products and equipment supplied for the job.
• Sign off all health & safety and food safety documentation daily once tasks are completed.
• Comply with all legal and company procedures relating to food safety, health and safety, and personal hygiene.
• Sign in and out when on shift and follow the shift rota.
• Attend training sessions and staff/client meetings as requested.
• Assist management and undertake all reasonable requests.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous chef experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge.
• Good customer service skills.
• Highly motivated.
• Attention to detail.
• Airport lounge experience would be useful.
• Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns.
