Responsibilities

• Provide primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough.
• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, while maintaining a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs; in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal (training will be provided on start).
• Cover at schools across the County Borough as required by the role.

Qualifications and requirements

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to obtain this.
• Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List is a requirement for this post.

Working hours and location

• Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between 10:00am and 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
• Location: across the County Borough’s schools; travel between sites may be required.
