Opportunity
A Vacancy at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the South West Cleft Service. The post-holder will learn and be exposed to all aspects of Cleft care and would assist in a range of cleft outpatient and inpatient care. The post-holder would also be encouraged to undertake research with the Cleft collective at the University of Bristol if they wished.
Clinic Coverage
- Outreach Clinics in Gloucester, Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro.
Responsibilities
- Attend all multidisciplinary clinics based at the hub unit in Bristol.
- Attend peripheral clinics across the South West Region.
- Assist operating lists at The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and The Bristol Royal Infirmary.
- Fully participate in pre‑ and post‑operative care of patients on the operating lists.
- Manage clinics for children and adults with 22q11 deletion, nasendoscopy, videofluoroscopy speech investigation, facial deformity and craniofacial deformities.
Research Opportunity
The postholder would also be encouraged to undertake research with the Cleft collective at the University of Bristol if they wished.
