Availability Window
Days from 15:00 to 23:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
We schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide three weeks’ notice of when your shifts will be.
Pay and Hours
Colleague rate starts from £13.28 an hour and increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week, with a minimum of 12 hours available if needed.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers with passion and pride and giving great natural service.
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Implementing training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
- Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Staying aware of store performance, understanding your role in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink and delivering profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Living our values, making everyone feel welcome and always following our policies.
- Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
- Ability to build rapport with customers, leaving them with a great shopping trip.
- Initiative to take the right decisions for customers.
- Strong teamwork and open communication skills.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit, having fun and celebrating success.
- Reliability – be on time, well presented and a brand ambassador.
- Over 18 years old.
