Female support worker Ayr – various hrs – max 16 per week – CMC/EVE

Job Summary

Female Personal Assistant to a wheelchair user in Ayr, South Ayrshire. Casual post with potential up to 16 hours per week. Further details will be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks and activities – domestic, personal and social.
• Facilitate and champion the user’s independence.
• Support the user with creative projects, including painting and TikTok videos.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Flexibly cover for other staff on annual or sick leave.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Female, 30‑ish, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic.
• Good listener, helpful, chatty, cheerful.
• Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude.
• No previous experience or formal qualifications required – training will be provided.
• Willingness to listen and learn.
• Compliant with the PVG disclosure scheme and able to provide up‑to‑date references.

Benefits

• Hourly rate £12.60.
• Flexible hours that can fit around other commitments.
• 6‑month probationary period; 1‑week notice for termination by either party.
