Porter – HMP Lancaster Farms

Salary – £25,821 – £28,574 per annum

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a new Porter to join the team here at HMP Lancaster Farms! No experience is necessary and this is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in prison healthcare.

Porters play a vital role in ensuring that the healthcare team is fully supported, enabling them to deliver the best possible healthcare.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Being responsible for stock ordering and replenishment
• Collect deliveries from the gate
• Assist with admin, such as collecting paperwork from the wings and delivering correspondence
• Assist with the recalibration of medical devices
• Chaperone visitors, including meting at the gate and escorting around

What We’re Looking For

• No experience is necessary – as long as you are proactive, enthusiastic and have a can do attitude, we want to hear from you!

About HMP Lancaster Farms

HMP Lancaster Farms is a busy Category C male prison, currently holding around 550 males, and expanding by another 200.

Working Pattern

This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm / 9am – 5pm.
