Job Summary
We are looking for a Materials Handler at Veolia Material Recovery Facility, Farnham Road, Alton, Hampshire, GU34 4JD.
Salary: £27,229.90 plus up to £1,469 per annum attendance bonus. Overtime is available – time and a half for weekdays and Saturdays, double time for Sundays. Staff engagement days. Cycle to work referral scheme.
Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating weekly shifts from 6am to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 11pm.

Responsibilities
- Separating materials to meet required standards
- Hand picking individual materials off the conveyor belt
- Undertaking cleaning duties within the plant
- Providing cover when needed for other positions within the plant
- Providing cover and support to the site sampler when required
- Sampling materials and assessing quality of outbound material produced
Qualifications
- Similar operational manual handling experience
- UK driving licence and own transport due to location
