Diamonds Playworker – Before and After School Club

Grade: 1 (SCP 6 – 11)

Hours: 6 hours 15 minutes per week (8 hours every other week including Friday afternoon)

Monday Friday morning 7.30am – 8.45am

Every other Friday afternoon 3.15 – 5pm

Fixed Term until 23rd July 2027 with a view to extension for the right candidate.

The Governors and Head Teacher are seeking to appoint a Before and After School playworker for Diamonds who is enthusiastic, organised and interested in working with children and young people.

We are looking for a playworker who;

• has a positive, proactive outlook and is enthusiastic about working with young children
• is keen to join our dedicated and supportive team and demonstrates good interpersonal and team working skills
• preferably holds a childcare qualification or has some experience in childcare, or is willing to work towards a level 2 qualification
