As our kitchen assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our care homes kitchen.

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the Chefs in the planning and provision of high‑quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
- Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and that safe methods of work are always used
- Manage all stocks and stores ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
- Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirement such as fridge temperature checks

- Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment.
- Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
- Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast‑paced environment
