About the role
Emmaus South Manchester, a part of the national Emmaus network, is recruiting three new Trustees with specific expertise to support its development and charitable work in Greater Manchester.
What you’ll be doing
All trustees share the same governance and legal responsibilities, working collaboratively to drive the charity forward. You will network, attend trustee meetings, provide professional advice and support, and propose practical ideas to overcome challenges.
What we’re looking for
- Finance: Professional expertise and experience within a finance or accountancy role.
- Fundraising: Proven experience in fundraising, through bid‑writing, grants, foundations or major donors.
- Building: Knowledge and experience in property development or project management.
Why this role matters
Our next stage involves fundraising and partnerships to secure a site, develop and progress the building, and launch a residential community home for those experiencing homelessness. Trustees will help ensure the charity’s growth and support those affected by poverty and social exclusion.
If you are enthused by teamwork, partnerships, fundraising campaigns, reviewing architect’s plans and ultimately seeing shovels in the ground, this is the perfect time for you to join Emmaus South Manchester.
