Salary: SCP 2-5 £24,413 – £25,583 FTE. Actual Salary: £8,577.54 – £8,988.62 + wellbeing cash plan + pension scheme + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: Part Time – 13 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday), 52 weeks per year

About the Role
As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role as the face and voice of the leisure centre. You will warmly welcome visitors, manage enquiries, coordinate appointments and support the smooth day-to-day running of reception and administration services.
This is more than an administration role; it’s an opportunity to support the wellbeing of our community while contributing to Lift Schools’ mission of providing an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, parents, students and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls and the main email account efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure all visitors and students are signed in and out correctly in line with safeguarding procedures.
- Coordinate appointments, meeting room bookings and deliveries.
- Support the wider administration team with clerical and administrative tasks.
- Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with first aid responsibilities following appropriate training.
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety procedures at all times.

- A professional and approachable individual with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in a customer-facing or office environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Good IT skills and confidence using office systems and equipment.
- Someone who works well independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive individual with a passion for supporting young people and the wider community.
