About the Role
Staffline is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled MEngineer to join the team at Pilgrim’s Raceview Hatchery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical and mechanical engineer to play a key role in supporting production performance, equipment reliability and site maintenance operations within a busy hatchery environment.
The role is based on a 39-hour working week, with hours worked across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and Wednesday from 7:00am to 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on hatchery machinery, equipment and site vehicles
- Support electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on automated machinery
- Complete installation work, including supporting and managing contractors during site visits
- Participate in fault finding, re-engineering and continuous improvement of plant and equipment
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules and complete associated maintenance documentation
- Carry out statutory inspections as required
- Monitor energy usage through BMS softwareSupport spare parts management and stock control
- Work safely and in line with company Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Complete any other reasonable duties required by the business
- Time-served or skills-served in both electrical and mechanical engineering
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience fault finding on automated machinery
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Good reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with poultry processing machinery
- Experience within a food, agri-processing or production environment
