£35,000 to £45,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x) + 15.5 Days Holiday (Increases up to 17.5 Days) + Pension + PPE/Workwear + Ongoing Training and Specialised Safety Certificates
4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for an industry specialist within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company who can offer job security and reliability.
The role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with an understanding of valves, pumps, motors, sprockets and chains. You will need experience working in a heavy industry.
Joining a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance when required on production equipment that operates 24/7. This will include working on bitumen blending tanks, high-speed lamination lines, and thermal oil systems.
Responsibilities
- Reactive maintenance on breakdowns
- PPMs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers etc.
- Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- MIG welding (experience not essential)
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Involvement in project works
- Support shift work when required to cover holidays
Qualifications
- Mechanically biased
- Mechanical qualifications
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or processing environment
